– Меня же не будет...---------------------------------------------------------------------------------All my brothers have dissapeared. The streets are empty with dim streetlights. The reasons can't be seen, can't be heard.Suddenly my life just has no meaning, no goal.I'm going to AmericaTo start a new life there. After leaving my motherlandI am an outcast everywhere - аn alien. No one knows what will happenWith the country and with me; where are we heading? And after some years who will rememberWho was right and who told lies? - But I won't be around...

+Squid Jones The video tells an actual story, even if changed a bit. there once was a russian guy who lost his daughter in some questionable circumstances (also wife? i dont remember). he felt so betrayed by his country, that he mined his home and killed himself into the "minefield". five days later, local law enforcement visited his place, to get his corpse. the two coppers that visited his house were killed.+AnEntropyFan has a point on the lyrics, it indeed is about the bolsheviks. protagonist feels that he has no place in his country anymore. where once was a band of brothers (so to speak), a change took everything away and he no longer sees any future. he's not feeling homicidal, so he does the only thing he can.he goes away.

I don't speak Russian so I don't understand the lyrics to this song but I really like the video. I just watched it again and realized something I hadn't realized before. I used to think that the girl laying dead on the ground was this guy's wife or something and that maybe she had complained about leaving the toilet seat up one too many times. But now I realize that it's a little girl. He's a child rapist/murderer. Ahh, now it all makes sense.KYPCK - 1917

If you want to say you love somebody, you speak Russian. If you want to say you hate somebody, you speak German. If you want to speak to piece of shit, you speak French. If you want to break your tongue, you speak English.

And if you're not sure what you want, you speak Italian.

not exactly, more like: russian sounds very sharp-tongued, what cause it to sound more brutal, what fits heavy riff more than softer english/finnish
