It's a step in the right direction, but this song fails at two points. One, the instrumentals aren't anything - it's got the instruments for a solid score, but playing the most incredibly repetitive tune (one which could've been developed by a four-year-old) just kills it. But the biggest let-down of the song is that they got that same four-year-old to write the lyrics. Perhaps this is where Kings of Leon are now, but I remember a band with a strong degree of artistic originality - one who put out lyrics that could in many respects be seen as Tennessee country poetry. Repeating "Oh, he's such a sucker from her head to her toes" 14 times isn't something a song writer with talent would do, nor is it something a band with integrity put their name beside.

Have loved the Kings right from the beginning and this should have made an album - it's bloody brilliant - yes they are a little "pop-ie" these days, but I still love them and always will - roll on December 13th when I get to see them, woo hoo (no pun intended!!) xcx

@kiah0425 It isn't from an album. It's the B-side of the Four Kicks single. A lot of discussion was about why Head to Toe wasn't included on Aha Shake Heartbreak, it was recorded at the same time the other songs are. I made my comment in response to them, saying that it really doesn't fit in with the album. All the songs on Aha Shake Heartbreak tend to have a nice flow, the only thing I could imagine is it replacing Velvet Snow, they would both be choppy breaks at the end of Four Kicks.
