Although 'Monolith' is not highly regarded by some fans, songs such as this, and 'On The Other Side',prove that they could write quality songs that were potentially viable singles without having to have songs written for them by writers hired by the record label as happened in the eighties (with forgettable songs like 'Stand Beside Me').
