That bell in the background sounds exactly like my computers "error" beep. Really confused me when I first heard the song.

Khan will not return. He is now a delusional born again Christian singing Jesus songs in Church, unfortunately.

Regarding its etymology, it began as a skater term when an announcer said someone had to be sick (mentally in this case) to try a difficult stunt that paid off and looked good. It caught on since then. I don't like it either. Whenever I read it, I realized its being used as a compliment, but always picture chemo-patients or something along those lines.

The song and the album it's from Epica tell part 1 of the story of Faust by goethe. Google it and the albums Epica and Black Halo take on a much more profound meaning. All they did was change Faust's name to Ariel and Gretchen's name is now Helena. Mephisto ./ Mephistopheles is the only character whose name is not changed. Epica tells Faust Part 1 and Black Halo tells Faust Part 2
