Just a picking of a guitar . No 40 piece orchestra. A tribute to her enormous talent .Make your children listen to real music sung by the ultra professional.

The album was released in 1958. It was recorded in the Fall of 1957 and this song was actually recorded at a session completing this album and beginning the album "Ti Voglio Bene--I Love You." In the end, M-G-M decided to go with the Italian album first and save the "Souvenirs" album for summer marketing. Tony Acquaviva did not arrange or conduct the "100 Strings" albums, Tony Osborne and Geoff Love did. Tony conceived the albums and co-produced them with Norman Newell. All are on C.D.

I've always loved this album by Joni (my favourites are the ones she recorded with 100 strings, incredibly sophisticated arrangments by her former husband, Tony Acquaviva). It's such a pity that her albums are so RARE to find and the marketplace sellers ask such huge amount of money for her records. I hope that the record company will reissue all her records one day.

What can I say. I agree with Fegan's comments. A great old song sung beautifully by Joni.
