#7 for Frankie Masters and His Orchestra (vocal by Marion Francis) in May 1940, #16 for Ozzie Nelson and His Orchestra in 1940 and #18 for the Glenn Miller Orchestra in 1940. The song was revived in 1940 because of a movie version of "Irene" starring Anna Neagle and Ray Milland.
