@Fegen Well said (as always), John! I have always loved this song but hadn't given it much thought lately, until watching "Rome Adventure" recently on TCM. I am so glad Joni's version has both the English & original Italian lyrics. Truly one of the loveliest romantic ballads ever wriiten. And you're right about the video clip....Calang has outdone himself. The late Suzanne Pleshette and the late Troy Donahue were a VERY charismatic couple! :)
