Love to hear Johnny Cash doing this old classic. Odd that he would sing it in the key of G, but play the harmonica in the key of F. But it sounds okay.

I like the verse where she gets pissed and moons the whole wagon train. Out on the prairie one bright, starry night, They broke out the whiskey, and Betsy got tight. She sang and she shouted and danced o'er the plain, And she showed her bare arse to the whole wagon train.

This song has been playing in my head the last few days...when I learned it in elem school it was 'Oh don't you remember sweet Betsy from Pike, who crossed the wide prairie with her husband Ike...with two yoke of cattle and one spotted hog, a tall Shanghai rooster and an old yaller dog....singin too rolly oo rolly oo rolly ay...' don't know why it's been playing in my head...hadn't thought of it since about the 3rd grade...!!
