Leon looking like a post-modern Mad Hatter. Mad Dogs didn't take a limo to the gig. No red carpet or paparazzi waiting for them. One day, the music will matter most, again.

Thanks for uploading this. I heard about Bobby Keys and showed the MD&E film to a friend last night off Laser Disc. There's a great piece in the film of Bobby showing Joe around Dallas in a car. If you are a MD&E fanatic like I am you should visit Linda Wolf's website (she was part of the troupe and official photographer). She has lo res images from the tour. I reached out to her and procured a nice shot of Joe for my older brother who was at one on the 70 tour concerts. He says he was down front and shook Joe's hand. Also says he didn't wash his hand for a few weeks after ;-).
