This is driving me absolutely insane. I could swear I have heard the piano solo towards the middle part of the song when i was in early grade school, and I'm pretty sure it was at a the church we used to go to at the talent show. Does anybody know if a lot people often listened to this song in 2008-ish maybe?

this particular song actually sounds very Kate Bush to me. I feel like she recorded this at a time when she hadn't totally found her own style but could be wrong. I love her and Kate when they're in their element even if they sound daft! Lots of male artists make stupid noises also... Police, Bowie, Talking Heads etc. Expresses emotion/creates emotion in listener, ridic noise = ridic emotion. I totally understand your opinion as I felt the same but now I love this freaky noise music!

Fair enough. You should check out her performance of this same song on Jimmy Fallon. It's on youtube. Also, her song "Book of Right On" is another good one, in my opinion.

Actually, I admit, the "commercialized bullshit" of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Kesha and such sound worse than her. She is just bad in a artsie fartsie way. She's pretentious. Linda Eder and Asaf Avidan also have an unusual way of singing but at least they don't sound immature and silly. They have a raw talent. She tries hard to be that original singer, but it comes across as silly. My opinion...
