I always want to hear the fading parts at the end. The words. Nobody comes close. Nobody. Try listening to this at volume on a real setup. Have the original single. That solo will knock everything off the table

He was just simply amazing, their will never be another Jimi. Thank you Guitar King. If Jimi was in his prime today, all the hotties would be dropping their pants for him.

In 67 Hendrix had an energy and creativity the like of which had never been seen before and was like some cosmic being had thrown an incendiary device into the rock firmament. It's a shame that by 68 and beyond due to mismanagement and other more subtle political reasons, that 67 explosion gradually fizzled out and though he still did great stuff, there's a sense there could have been more. He change the whole rock ethos but others were the beneficiaries from the energy he generated as music progressed into the 70s.

I had a hankering to hear Look Over Yonder and then this Cocaine Cough Drops popped up and I had to laugh. Boy could I use some now as I am getting a tooth pulled out tomorrow and have been in XXX pain for 10 days now. STP-LSD, This is the Crispest version I've heard in quite some time. I originally had the b+w cover where it looks like he had some gray hair and left it at work and then bought the orangeish colored one and that was not nearly as good. I wish you were there on the trip we took...19 hours of highs and lows and a lot of walking. Music of the Spheres.

1961 - Jimi Hendrix enlisted in the U.S. Army - it was that or face time in prison. Yes, I know that this wasn't released until August 1967, but it's my party & this doesn't get played that often!#dapimusic #mymusichangout #psychedelicrock #acidrock #jimihendrix #onthisday #onthisdate #fns #fridaynightsessions #the60s
