Can anyone help me? I'm trying to find the Mos Def verse that begins "I stretched my arms towards the sky like blades of tall grass" and also says in it "For you, I would peel open the clouds like new fruit and give you lightning and thunder as a dowry". All the lyrics websites that come up in google are telling me it's in this song, but I can't find it in any of the versions on youtube? It's really frustrating me, however grateful to be introduced to this beautiful piece of art.
