My quest on this planet is to find out how the hell they set up and mix those nasty Fender Rhodes keys. D'Angelos songs has the same texture. Anyone knows?

Lately anytime I become overwhelmed, this instrumental is the only thing that seems to distract me from the BS.

Took four steps back, thought I was now spiritually intact.Three steps forward, saying oh lord, now always doubting matter of fact. Two behind my mind and soul are starting to intertwine. It's hard to imagine that. One concious divine, counting down since the moment in time, you realized, that's a sick beat.. can't wait to press rewind.

This is a stupid ass comment. On THIS track, Dilla DID "just do the drums." D'Angelo did the rest. If you have ever listened to any of D'Angelo's music (which you obviously haven't), you'd know that just from hearing D's trademark Rhodes piano on this.

Actually I listen to Royce da 5'9", Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Tech N9ne, Rittz, Wreckonize (Sometimes Mayday), Tonedeff, Twista, R.A. The Rugged Man, Vinnie Paz, etc. Just saying a lot of the people trying to come up in the rap game are a bunch of fake fucks trying to rap about material objects they do/don't possess. There is definitely still good music around nowadays, but there is a majority of ignorant rappers in the last few years.
