@Ymanalo What the fuck are you on about? Have your heard the sample work on donuts or his contribution to Commons "Like Water For Chocolate"? Most of the beats similar to "Push" were probably concocted within tens of minutes but are still album worthy. He can go professional if he wants, hence the number of hip hop stars he has worked with.

@thamer182 Yeah. Although this would be a great battle beat. I recommend a closed mouth and a steering wheel. Perfect beat to drive too and blast in a parking lot. lol ("Love Movin" is another one of those beats)

@Ymanalo I'm not a groupie, just a fan. He was the greatest before he died but don't take my word for it, his piers tell it all. The entire industry says it all. If you think his beats were sub-par, let us see what u got. You obviously haven't heard dudes collection....He's been gone for a minute now and has more tracks out then most will ever do.

@Ymanalo You're missing the point to a Dilla production. It's supposed to be simplistic and blend with the talent of the emcee. ORIGINAL Hip-Hop. There are a ton of producers that sound so similar now. A Dilla beat is distinctive. It's clean. DJ Premiere is similar in many respects. I can understand that to some, it seems under produced and over-hyped, but there is a reason Emcee's wanted to work with him and producers wanted to emulate his style. They can't all be wrong.
