Ok here is my view on new Incubus. All bands grow and evolve right? Ok I get it. Some evolve into something great; a new, refreshing sound. But some evolve into a generic rock band and that's what happened to this band folks. You can fight me and troll me all you want but this is true. So many others have chosen this path so I'm not just singling Incubus out....**cough** foo fighters **cough**.....

Love Incubus first album

His voice sounds like a mix of Les Claypool, Mike Patton, Jon Davis, and Anthony Kiedis all in one. LOL he really came into his own quite a bit. Still recognizable enough to me. I feel like Incubus really did naturally evolve into making the music they've made since.

y'all are saying RHCP and Primus, and i'm sure those are influences, but the most prominent is Mike Patton's bands Faith No More and Mr. Bungle. Sorry kiddies, dig deeper

Please make a new album in the old style. One of my favorite bands up to and including "science" then it's like nickleback took over and just used the name incubus

Mike Einziger is a true guitar legend. He holds a special place with Matt Bellamy, Tom Morello, Johnny Greenwood and Thurston Moore as someone who didn't just play the guitar but manipulated it into a totally different form than we are used to.
