What a powerful video. The lyrics are also brilliant, of course. I'm writing a rhetorical analysis over this for my English class. :)

Brilliant band and singer with amazing lyrics...a must listen.via +Melinda Warner "This video is a meditation on the acceptance of violence and discrimination against people of colour, women and the LGBTQ community," Shoemaker wrote in an email. "We took these frustrations and paired them with classic imagery that would be recognized by most, allowing us to set a tone for the narrative. Replacing the Botticelli's Venus with Katey Red, the transgender mother of 'sissy bounce,' is something that speaks clearly without having to be salacious or heavy-handed."The video's beauty draws in the viewer; its subtler messages inspire a profound emotional reaction. Segarra states: "I hope this song breathes power and humanity back into all people who feel targeted by violence and oppression," she wrote, "whether they exist in our old stories and songs or are marching in protest as we speak."

It's terrifying when you realize the thing the woman is wearing near the end looks like a trophy mount...

So much Johnny Cash influence, that's a good thing... a really good thing

Personally, while I love this song, I thought this video was a little weak, though if one likes ambiguous images that's fine just didn't do it for me. However, the image of the reverse bullets dropping with the women cradling them is excellent and sad; seriously love this band

Another great song that cuts to the chase. So sad I missed the Sydney show.

Excellent song and meaningful. But the video does it no justice at all. It could have been a lot more thoughtful and powerful for the song itself. Dissapointed

wonderful use of a classic form with a modern spin -- just what the best song writers have been doing for ages

One of the most powerful songs I have heard in recent times -- dedicated to (in protest of) murder and rape of women, specifically to the murder of 14-year old Delia Green. Listen with your headphones on...
