This band is very underrated and they are really good. Very big fan of them since this Upon Promethean Shores the EP, Slaughter of Innocence and Dark Requiems are extremely black dark and cold as creepy hell, they are so different of COF by far the only thing in common was Jhon. Does anyone knows aht is he doing now???? those growls comes from the very helll min3:35 "I'll never die" hails to Hecate Enthroned "YIOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH" (GROWL)

Yeah, but satan is the ultimate entity, so I think its cool that we use him as a symbol against christians lol bands like Aeon and Deicide bash god n christians in their lyrics and song titles but then they go all "I believe in satan and he believes in me rawr rawr" lol like i dont think any of them believe in and worship Satan as a figure or anything, but they worship themselves and use Satan as a symbol to offend, and it makes the music darker, like "yeah they went there..." xD

Yeah. And honestly, ive lost some respect for some of the older black metal artists who are all butthurt about how they didnt want this to happen, didnt want to start a "trend"....well fuck man, what kind of effect were they planning to have on the music world? obviously people were gunna take it as "fuck yeah hail satan lets wear corpse paint!" lol I dont see how thats a bad thing! Some truely amazing bands have been inspired by darkthrone, mayhem and burzum, and its like they are ashamed lol

Yeah what happened? why are u embarassed of what you like? I wear my Midian shirt all the time, and i have no fucks to give. I fucking love that album. and their new shit is well-written, fast paced, dark, sinister, and fairly technical, sounds sick as fuck to me, im kinda glad that the more extreme, darker side of metal has evolved slightly and doesnt sound like it was recorded on a childrens tape player anymore. Not saying i wasnt just enjoying some burzum like 15 mins ago. xD

To say that CoF sucks and that HE is better is retarded. HE's music sounds just like old school cradle. People who think otherwise are just saying so. They're both awesome. I would not doubt them drawing inspiration from each other.
