I agree with you on the vocals (they've gotta be mean and dirty, not a squeaky power metal tenor), but the drums are pretty damn cool. They're actually not that dissimilar other than the little triplet double bass figure in the verses.

Well, this guy is great on their own songs. I guess it's just the style that's not his. Paul was once in Phantom of the Opera (the stage version, not the crappy movie), and he sucked. Normally, he's a great singer, but his voice was not meant for that style. IMO, that's what's happening here.

Idk, i think Dee Snider and Doug Aldrich really did a great job.. I mean the drums on this are for sure awesome because its you know power metal, super technical and precise drumming.. But i think the fact that the vocals are not like Paul's or Dee's with the rasp that makes it raunchy takes my personal vote. And then Doug playing it like pure rock n' roll, but than again this is power metal band giving the perspective of power metal and doing in their own rendition of it :P Awesome cover!

@justentime77 there cover of Youth Gone Wild by Skid Row is good his voice fits same with there cover of Flight of the Warrior by Riot I like most of there covers I will admit this cover of KISS is not there best or as good as the original but this isn't there music style and they pulled it off pretty well

@petplatypus It's all subjective. Perhaps 'Bad' was a poor choice of words, I just don't think it works on this song. I didn't like the drummers approach either. I like Peter's simplicity, but like the way Eric Singer plays it better. I'm not saying this guy can't sing, I just don't like his voice on this or any cover I've heard him on.
