I am a massive fan of the original (it's been in my top 10 tracks of all time since I first heard it when I was a kid) but I have to say, this is a cracking version. Not many vocalists could match Eddie Vedder & Chris Cornell's respective ranges and pull off a fairly chunky effort. Lzzy Hale has such a powerful voice, but also knows how to use the softer tones ('Break In' etc). I'm impressed....and I think, as singers, Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell would be too. 9 years ago

I don't like how her vocals sound Country in this. Vedder had a shifting kind of vocals that when she adds the vibrato to she ends up sounding like Shania Twain. Disappointed. I dig that the band likes some of the same music that I do but this was legitimately fucking uninspired. Lame vocals, instrumentals, even the drummer seems stale. The loudest instrument/member of this band, in this song, is clearly the producer. Way to shit on grunge.10 years ago
