Aaron Mccune is by far my favorite bass vocalist and the oak ridge boys must like Aaron too because he is the full in bass vocalist for Richard so if he wasn't good he wouldn't be where he is

@doudecad Exactly!! You can see Richards face after his note at 1:58 that he knows that Aaron isn't near as good as him! It's like he's thinking, "I bet that kid wishes he coudl do that!" Richard Sterban is one of the greatest basses of all time and probably the best living bass out there today!

@ashgruber1 First of all once again this isn't a competition, BUT if it were, I am a strong fan of both Richard Sterban and Aaron McCune, and Richard's name is the one in the hall of fame and I'm sure he will be in more before it's all over. I think that alone should for itself sir. Aaron is NOT better, but it also comes down to personal preference on their voices but Richard's range is fdeeper and his tone is far superior.

@HunterStump Oh, stop it with with it's a sin to have fun crap. I'm sick of narrow minded, judgemental people like you trying to tear others down. Elvira is a fun love song. Ever read the Song of Solomon? It's part of the bible, even though I bet you don't read it. And I know 3 out of the 5 people you said would be upset and you are DEAD WRONG! They would have been right in the middle laughing.

It is sad to see how much American Christianity, especially seen in singing groups such as Oak Ridge Boys, among others, has molded with the world. They can sing about Jesus coming back soon, and meld it with a saloon song, and add a song of worldly lust to top it off. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! These are complete paradoxes, complete opposites. Yet groups sing these songs as if its all right, and nobody tells them its wrong. Read 1st Kings 18:21. Also 1st Peter 2:9-11

i don't doubt he can sing lower. i've heard the f1. all i'm trying to say is he did a classic stage oops.

i agree with you on the first one but the second mow he was trying to bring it down it was just too late at that point. i have heard the guy sing a f1, he can definitely sing lower.

no it was a straight up C# in tune and all. i believe he can go lower. it was just a stage "oops". as long as you can stay in key, you can do an octave drop like nothing. or at least you'll be able to fix it in a heartbeat. i love aaron's voice and technique i just thought it was funny that he missed that bad.

i think he just missed the note because the C# was really flat and almost a C. It is really hard to drop down an octave and nail the pitch perfectly.

Aaron screwed up! the bottom note of the 2nd "mow mow" is supposed to be a C. He sang a C#. Other than that thing making my musician ears bleed, GREAT VID!

Joe's just doing that for effect.
