On this day in 1975 {February 15th} Gino Vannelli performed "People Gotta Move" on the syndicated TV program 'Soul Train'...Five months earlier on September 15th, 1974 it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; and on November 17th, 1974 it peaked at #22 {for 1 week} and spent 13 weeks on the Top 100...It reached #17 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and in his native Canada it peaked at #21...He was just the 2nd Caucasian artist to appear on 'Soul Train' {the 1st being Dennis Coffey in 1972}...R.I.P. Mr. Corneius {1936 - 2012} and Mr. Vannelli will celebrate his 62nd birthday in four months on June 16th {2014}...
