I completely agree with what most have said here, the Ghostship demos are far superior to their respective versions on Phantom of the Horizon. This is the song that got me into TFOT, and I still think it's one of their best pieces of work.

Man, I listened to this for the first time like 7 years ago and it blew my fucking mind, *especially* that crazy growl he has on the chorus. I just heard the re-done version, and it's just gutless, stripped of everything that made this so good. It's not even about the production — if he was still bringing that same intensity, that unhinged, manic quality, it would be fine, but whatever vocal training he got between this and the re-recording just de-fangs this song. This is a classic.
