'Genesis' was one of the first cassettes I ever bought as a kid and it was because I loved 'That's All'. Imagine my shock and awe when THIS greets me as the first song of the set! I can't tell you how many times I played this in a row before I even listened to the rest of it. By the way, LOVE the rest of the album.Genesis had a lot of great Phil Collins-led tunes, but this is one of the best. Furthermore, it really kept in line with the 'spooky' nature of the band that existed from their inception, so this wasn't a sell out.....more of a proper adaptation of the Peter Gabriel vibe and expansion into the Eighties.FYI: This song was in part inspired by Hip-Hop! Phil said that he got the idea for the now classic 'HAha' refrain in this from Grandmaster Flash's 'The Message'. Different genres, different neighborhoods, but good music is good music and when I read this, it made me really happy.
