Sad but true, I knew them, liked them, but didn't follow them a a teenager in the 70s. Recently I started buying albums and bought Stone Blue.. I was blown away. Listened to it 10-15 times now..When I googled em, and found Dave and Rob had passed, I was so bummed out.. But I saw they toured, checked them out a few times, and yeah, this "new" guy is ok, lol. I dont consider them a cover band, and I still call Brian Johnson the "newsinger" for AC/DC.

So nice to see Craig McGregor on bass and Roger Earl on drums with this group! Sadly, without Lonesome Dave on vocals and Rod the Bottle on slide, it really is not much more than an awesome cover band. But they acquit themselves well

I saw these guys! Great FOGHAT cover band! They should tour with FOREIGNER cover band!

I said they were ok. It just when you see bands it would be nice to see the original line up. I realize Dave and Rod can't be there. I just saw yes with a new lead singer from a tribute band and it was actually great. You make a valid point about keeping it going, but on the other hand it's kind of misrepresenting the name for the sake of money. I always check the line up before putting my money down. If you like them then that's your right. Enjoy.

I don't know why people can't accept both groups. I saw both too. I have had their old albums and I have new DVDs of Foghat with the new group members. I think they are great. Ok, both bands had a few differences, but, how about us all being thankful that it's been kept going all these years? I know I am. And I like some of their new work, it's great. The blues material is awesome.

I caught a glass tube used for slide by Foghat in 1980 at a day of rock in the Super dome. I gave it to my brother. he still has it . This band here is OK but not even Foghat. Like Blackfoot without Ricky.

I saw FOGHAT at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. last Saturday. This band is red hot live and not to be missed if they are touring near you!!!

I don't know of any other band that has as much slide guitar work in their songs as Foghat.......I love it. And if they do, it's not bluesy-rock slide.
