I am so sorry for your loss VR Sniper. Thank you for your nice comment! Everything in life is just a temporary condition, so just try to embrace each day and truly enjoy the moments that make you happiest...for they are fleeting. You always realize in the future, how much the moments in the past really meant. Peace! :)

this song makes me think of my best friend whom I lost back in 1995, not a day that goes by that I dont miss my brother: keep the glow my friend,

Always been a fan of Pat, however, my friend recommended this entire CD and the songs are so personal, intimate, with her classic rock edge and stellar vocal powerhouse of a voice! This is the song that, in 2013, has got me through and out of some rough patches in my life. Thank you, kindly, for posting this!

It is funny to think that I had to learn to lie cheat and steal just to graduate from a christian high school. It drove me to drink too. But I had to make it to graduation. I also had to learn lock picking and college level schematics to figure out the alarm system. I did it for myself but I was so blinded by hate and rage that I didn't care what the consequences of my actions were. This helped me through a bad time. It gets worse after Desert Storm but the song still helps.

This song covers a friend you are trying to help, and at the same time, you are also talking to yourself,Amen to God stepping in

I have lost a fairly big chunk of my memory from problems after Desert Storm. I get on here to spark memories from a past I don't remember. I don't remember much from that time frame but I do remember how screwed up my Christian high school was and the abuse there. I didn't remember Pat belting this out to get me through to graduation. I did it for myself. I Almost didn't say when. I have been on a journey of darkness and pain for so long. It is so nice to see a little starlight on this trail.

I was Pats lead hit song writer Pat was my lead hit song singer, I had to commit Pat to an insane asylum to be treated for crazy disorders. I bought her a baby toy doll to hug. Pat beat the stuffing out of her toy doll, scolded it screamed at it and totally abuse her toy doll for two years. I cried for her baby doll and wrote to her doll sympathy letters to be read by a nurse infront of Pat consuling her dol that Pat was a rotten mean woman she has no rights to touch ya honey baby doll...

Yes, Pat Benatar...Best Concert I ever seen back in the 70's...WOW...You Know That The Lonely Pay A Price For Love In The End...I look at it as a learning experience Song that I can attribute through my whole life thus far...What my Mom went through, my siblings,...Could have been so much worse but God, Jesus stepped in...Life is still so hard for my family...Relationships FAILED...Anorexia, Vertigo, Social Phobia, Drug abuse...False hope from "Christians" trying to make a buck. TCB LUV KAV!!!

I too really love this song! I think it might possibly even be about to drug abuse. Or really perhaps just about anything that is causing turmoil in one's life. How avoidance and denial don't solve the problem...instead you need to face it head on and "Fight It Out!" Thanks for posting this!
