my god what a voice !!! he was so good it hurts , this was my favorite song he did , thank you jenne seely for such a great song . This version shows his awsome punch with western swing, and that driving bass whips the hell out this masterpiece of classic western country swing . the only thing that comes close maybe the awsome Dawn Sears and the time jumpers and a nice version of this by Leighan Cortes.Faron Young will always remain one of true counrty musics greatest treasures...

Had the pleasyre of Booking Faron in 1963 ~I was 20 at the time ~we had a great conversation in the Penthouse at Taylors Viewpoint ~He coundt belive that a 20 year old kid had bought him nad his 5 Peice Band for 750 for one nite ~ We became great friends and God I Sure do Miss him and all the other Country Greats ~The JUNK we call country today ~Faron would turn over in his grave~Sure do Miss you buddy~Steve

You can feel it in his voice. He lived. With great talent sometimes comes great pain. When you watch the videos of him in the eighties his voice, I think, is better than when he was younger. Life caught up with him, he was probably hard to live with with. He touched a lot of hart's just like yours (tyndajane2) , he had life, that's what you saw in him. I think, well that is just my opinion. .
