He was warned not to sing "Part Time Love" because of the scandalous lyrics, but he did anyway. The crowd is wooden because any dancing or misconduct was not tolerated, they would not allow people to express their joy in being at an Elton concert.

Saw Elton live in concert 4 times and once in a concert with Billy Joel (all in Australia)and he didn't do this song. Loved it from the time I bought the album. .All great concerts but jealous of the people who saw this fantastic performance with Ray Cooper.

Captain Fantastic is one of my favorite albums of all time. I can listen to it in its entirety over and over again and never get sick of it. What makes me sad is even people who claim to be "die hard Elton John" fans have never heard of it, and won't give it a chance when I suggest it. And I'm only 26.lol. I grew up with that album.
