Thanks for posting this! What an inspiration. You can get a nice warm, jazzy sound from a tele if you roll-off the tone, use a heavier gauge string, and set your amp for no drive, lower treble, mid-mids and more bass. 9 years ago

I'm wondering if the person who saw Joe Pass with Telecaster in his early year may be mistaking it for a Fender Jaguar he used to use also there was an similar Fender I think called the Jazzmaster guitar. 10 years ago
