When I was a kid, my parents had a bunch of Dusty Springfield 45 records that we listen to. It wasn't until I was an adult that I actually saw a video of her performing and I was shocked as hell to see that she was a white lady!

Well, you may be right, but imo Dusty's delivery is sexier because she's more tongue-in-cheek and has a lighter touch with the lyrics. It's a bit of fun isn't it? But each to his own :)
