Erm there is Ben Howard but Duncan Sheik is so unique and his music structure and lyrical composition is different to most artist I know and he has no definitive genre because most people of an acoustic nature have leanings to country or folk or even hip hop in the case of Ed Sheeran but Duncan Sheik doesnt have any of those genres influencing him which is unusual. Maybe acoustic tracks from some of the better pop punk bands like Mayday Parade - Jamie All Over (acoustic)

my brother recorded this song on a compilation disc way back and it played in my mind as i awoke this morning. i had to struggle to remember its name, but it came back to me just now, right after i brushed my teeth for sleepy sleep time. a great tune.
