So inspiring - can you really name anyone who had such a strong voice yet such beauty - a wonderous chameleon she was - "acting" vocally as she felt the song required - but NEVER into the crazy vocal acrobatics and runs that are so unneeded - just an extremely POWERFUL and MOVING singer - I wish I had the chance to have told her what a true friend her talent she was to me - especially growing up (or inward???) in the second half of the 70's - every release seemed to speak to me - especially my favourite lp of all time "once upon a time" - it's like all her music was released only for me!!!! Aside from her amazing voice - the thing that drew me to her was her SMILE - to me, the most sincere and beautiful in showbiz ; - ) Still cry and miss her dearly - she really was a true friend to me....maybe now she's able to know how I, and so may of us, really feel about her!!!

So beautiful! I love the way she sings the song so effortlessly. She sings it straight without runs, so refreshing. She had all the vocal prowess to do any kind of gymnastic, but instead she opted to sing songs as they are written. Really a wonderful version of this lovely song.

Nov. 2014, I did not know she had passed away, I'm so sorry to hear that. I saw Donna sing this on TV back in 1982, I thought it was one of the Best Songs she ever sang. I miss you Donna, God be with You.
