the walkabouts originated in the 80's, but they are NOT an '80' band ... maybe an anti-80's band ...

If anyone is interested in knowing what this song is about, De Andre describe an old Sardinian custom, in english "feud" (sard. "disamistade") .The so called blood revenge it is a not written rule that still is followed in some town. In few words: you need to wash away the offense with the blood to be respected.
