I have this music mag from the time "Communique" was released and it was absolutely destroyed by the journalists, who said that Dire Straits were repeating themselves and that they were ripping themselves off by having "Lady Writer" as the lead off single since it's basically "sultans of swing" with different lyrics.TOTAL BULLSHIT.Sure it sounds similar to "Sultans" but it's a much more accomplished song in overall.
