GREAT stuff - Dave is brilliant and always was. I recall going to a restaraunt in Hamilton and he was in the bar, dressed very gothic around the time of DD Smash. The Restaraunt was Gainsborough House - He was already a star!. Brilliant writer, great guitarist and top of the range. Thanks to whoever found this video and put it up as its great.

If you listen to the lyrics...you'll agree that Dave is a wordsmith! I love the 'briny breeze' word play. Man, these guys could write some music! Most of the shit out on the radio now is worse than a wet fart! As for NZ music...well, it has always been home grown, like our superb weed. Someone commented about NZ music now being 'crap nowadays'. Trinity Roots....crap rap? Piss off!
