I'm in Ashland, Oregon, we have our local hardware store. I could change this to North Ashland Hardware. Thanks David.

The perfect evening would consist of David Wilcox, John Gorka, Dar Williams and Nanci Griffith. Oh, and the Chieftains.

I had heard David perform Language of the Heart on TV (no idea what show it was) and I was totally blown away....rushed out the next day to find an album (any album) by him. I searched and searched and way in the back of the stack was "How Did You Find Me Here" I laughed out loud..because literally, how did I find that album there? I bought it and hit the repeat button....woah, I was hooked. Later I found David's cover of "Let Them In" and that was my introduction to Gorka. I am a huge Fan!

DW, I was drawn to your music after hearing this song fade in and out on a jaunt home to NC several years back. It is a wonderful tune, but is only one of many gems on this album. Each time I come back to these songs I am in awe of your ability to distill some of our common joys and struggles into a few lines and notes. Your music is truly a blessing to me and to those I have convinced to give just one listen. Rock on!

My "East Asheville Hardware".We've lived in the house a long time...."some things have worn out twice already" long. Add in when we've needed supplies for CBF's artwork and we make a lot of trips to BigBoxHardwareStore. But occasionally I need an item that BBHS doesn't carry. In the last 30 days I've gone to my "East Asheville Hardware" - Coppell Hardware - several times and they have come through for me each time. This place doesn't have old wooden doors or floors, but it's the real thing, good advice, quality at a fair price. Today when they asked if I had a Rewards card I said "No, but I need one" and they signed me up fast and easy. Oh, and today when I went it wasn't because BBHS didn't have what I needed.....I went there before trying BBHS. They've won me over.

I have every album and had the privilege of seeing you live when you played at the Ballard Firehouse in Seattle then again at the Woodland Park Zoo. You are amazing and I love your music. Thank you for sharing your gift!

Years ago, I had an employer introduce me to this album. I still love it and have bought it on iTunes (thanks to being reminded on youtube).

I know I could tell you that I love you or that you're an amazing inspiration in my life as a musician and a human being. I feel like none of this would be new or even surprising, and as a person I can't help but try for originality! So: I feel blessed to live in a world where amidst the chaos and trials of simply being alive I have the opportunity to enjoy YOU expressing and enjoying yourself. You're you, and I'm so glad you are! =]

I love this song so much. First, it taught me how to be a better shop keeper. Second, it kept my money local more often then not and Third,...I can't boycott a company I already ditched years ago as they engage in silly ad pulls. David, you're deeply appreciated at OMRadio. Get back to Texas asap.

I forgot about this song! I think you have to be my favorite lyricist of all time. I grew up listening to "What You Whispered" and I can truthfully say that your songs have helped shape my life and make me a better person. Thank you for gracing our good earth with your presence and shining so bright like the sun you are. =3

every year when we drove to the beach, my dad played this album for us. We'd listen to it two times in a row. I know every word to each song on this album. Your beautiful melody and warm lyrical commentary has always brought me back and will be the reason my children will hear this music in our car heading to the beach.
