song is called Behind the SMILE... and was from a production done by Roger Glover called the Buttefly Ball, which I believe was a TV special

This is not Deep Purple: it's taken from Roger Glover's The butterfly ball and the grasshoper feast, 1975. And the song is called Behind the Smile. Anyway: great song! ;-)
