I love the line, "thundering velvet hand". More parents need to pay attention to being a parent and holding their children to a standard and teaching them respect and at the same time loving them unconditionally and never, ever put them down or make them feel they are worthless or nothing. I am in NZ, my son who became a lawyer at home in Sacramento says this song reminds him of me, not a musician but the human condition of father son and seperation is strong and poignant.
