I'd also like to add a technical point, and say that, while much was made of their use of a solitary Calrec microphone, the results are nowhere near as great as most people think. There's way too much background hiss and floor noise and while it is indeed a stereo recording, it lacks the separation that is achieved with a multi-track recording. No, the songs are what made the album beautiful, not the recording method.

oh well it's NICE - don't get me wrong. it just sounds a bit overworked and totally lacks the same kind of intimacy. sorry if i hurt your feelings. it's just an opinion - you don't have to agree. But please at least bring something reasoned to the table instead of name calling.

FAIL - they missed the whole point of the recording... one very special microphone. That's why it sounds nothing like the original.

@Joletta6319 yes, there seems to be no classification for the Junkies....i am also completely astounded.....i've seen them multiiple times and even talked with micaheal and margo...I was blown away when they chose Natalie to join them...i've gone to sleep separately with both artists for year and when they joined it was like a dream come true...

Discovered the band in Boston in '96 and totally addicted to their junk since. Margo's voice is just like an entire universe where you'd like to wander forever. Thanks to this family for existing and please bring your deep and beautiful skyes over France sometime!!
