"Going home aint quite as fine as leaving. Together aint as fine as on your own."Turning 50 soon and learning just how true that line is. Sad to hear of Greg Quill passing not long ago, in Hamilton where I spent a lot of time in summers as a youngster with friends of my parents on their farm. Hoping to shift up bush in the not to distant future. Silver roads and all that, far far behind me.

I saw these guys perform live in Wagga when this was a hit in 1972. I lost my entrance ticket so me and my 3 girlfriends climbed through a side window of the Theatre, only to find ourselves in the dressing room of the band. They were kind enough to let us watch the concert from the wings! Great memories!!

This song epitomizes everything I love about rock and roll. I heard it tonight - peculiarly enough on Melbourne Radio 774 :) and found it evoking memories of my childhood esp before school as a 6 or 7 yo.What a great song. Absolutely LOVE the harmony. The simplicity of the song combined with great lyrics, musicianship and vocals is what really causes me to listen to this gem.Simple music does it for me more and more these days 10/10!

i came up with a theory that involves the book of genesis (fig leaves) buddha (sitting under the bodhi fig tree) jesus (many sayings about figs) ross hornes' book (new health revolution) and science (figs are the most important source of food for fruit eating rainforest animals). i then experimented on the figs by eating mainly dried figs (same brand) for over 8 years now and found cycles which i related to the numbers in psgs 11/12 of the book of revelations. this theory has gone everywhere.

so far i have had eliminations at days 504, 840, 1176, 1512, 1848, 2184, 2520 and 2856. today is day 3115. i have definitely found something. i am not lying. what i have discovered has gone around the world and many songs have been written about it.....the foo fighters' last 3 albums.....coldplays' last 3 albums......"vertigo" by U2 (my first name is phil). an elimination is a day when you experience strong flu-like symptoms and feel terrible. bad stuff is washed out of your body.
