I'm like Haley in some ways, the matier'ds are clumsy looking for a place for my blessed chair and eyes mostly show only pity to my parents imagining what it's like, my family wears badges of honor at the mall then they hear my call though I can't speak the only way is with my cry and it's usually time to say byebye, my parents and siblings sometimes wonder if I'm happy and they take care of me day after day my dad says when he sees my smile it makes his day better even if he's hurting too, but unlike Haley I can usually smile at them and say "yes it's hard but no need to pity" with my eyes, I can usually say why we have to go byebye, and I'm not an angel in heaven but I look forward to meeting her there and hearing her sweet voice say hello to me and I'll smile and say it back I love your music Collin and I'll pray she's where she belongs

Thank you for this amazing song Mr. Raye. We were privileged to have our own angel in our life as you did. Our Daughter Jennifer was born with a rare genetic condition that caused her to be severely disabled. We were blessed to have Jennifer in our lives for 26 years. We lost Her in 2007. Your song only came to my attention yesterday. You have distilled in words the 26 years of love and pain we experienced. I too have often thought that the reunion in the next life will be a joyous one. I know Jennifer will be there with me in a perfected state. I also know she will be by my side pleading for me. We devoted everything we had by way of time and talents to making Jennifer' as comfortable as we could. There were still many terrible days but we gave 110% up until the day she left us. Jennifer's life was a gift from God and I am so humbled to have been able to be Her Father and share in Her mission here. God bless your family and all of the others out there who have experienced the love of one of God's special angles in their lives.

What a wonderful tribute to such a beautiful little girl.......I cried through the entire song.....watching the video of this precious child and all the things she endured makes me feel so how unimportant the illnesses I have had to deal with over the years....compared to this little girl. Now that Haley is in Heaven she is free from all the pain she suffered here on earth. Colin Raye, what a beautiful, beautiful song for your granddaughter.....I am sure she is smiling down on you every single day.
