This song means a lot to me. Me and Ciarra used to sing this song for a long time while living in Texas. I just read one of her letters she wrote to me about 7 yrs ago and she mentioned this song. I totally forgot about it being our favorite song. I sung it to my mom and Jimmie in sign language too. They needed to know what we were singing about over and over again, so we did it. She sang by using her voice and I did sign language. They loved it! After moving back to Mexico, she told me in that same letter she won the talent show at her school! My church youth group went to Houston, Tx (3rd ward) and we painted our hands all different colors and danced to this song. In Houston (3rd ward), they don't like white people...they keep their distance, and they act like they shoot us. We danced to this song, and this guy who act like he was shooting us cried. So, I went over to him and he said he was sorry. He also accepted Christ. We had over 100 people join in on this song. This is a very touching song.

It has a beautiful soothing musical tune (though repetitive chords & some scaling up). Can't find any chords on Google for this song; there are for other versions with same title "Make Us One". Even the lyrics posted by one source was not totally correct Now I am putting the guitar chords to the song for my own play - play by ear. Unfortunately not so savvy, otherwise I can put it up for all of you. The Intro is on a different set of keys and it's on A chord Capo 1st fret. Good wedding song.
