Chris wrote a gem here.. actually a rare cut on a solo album pre-Soundgarden break up. One of Alice's best songs. AC rewrote it and made it a gem on "THE LAST TEMPTATION".. Nice to hear this bare bones demo.. Alice has it clearly over this though.. and CHRIS SINGS ON THAT ONE ALSO... Should have been a huge hit like POISON was.. no marketing.. Grunge overkill fashion. Otherwise.. this would have been a monster hit for ALICE COOPER

This version is FAR superior to Cooper's take on it. The lyrics here are darker, deeper, the whole style of the song is more soulful than coopers, where he makes the lyrics and style of singing sound corny, and the cheesy as fuck kids singing the chorus?! not a patch on this. i love putting it on the ipod late at night when im travelling long distance alone

no way guys cornell's version is way better more poetic cooper changed some of the original lyrics plus cooper is a has been and this song went no were with him if cornell released a complete version of it , it would have been a hit single
