Why the musical "Chicago" is timeless. It suspect it shall always be relevant. This is also one of the rare cases where, IMO, the movie was actually better than the (theatrical) show.

Ye Gods. This is a great song and a great number, but Richard Gere is SO HUMONGOUSLY MISCAST that it isn't even funny. He's a fine dramatic actor, but he is laughable in this role.
