I would like to respectfully disagree. You can argue that Jodi may have more of an emotional feel because of your connection with the character (Ariel) in the movie but I find the emotional appeal of Chely and Jodi to be equally powerful. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.11 years ago

You know this version is pretty rockin awesome, but I like the original even more. Nothing can compare to Jodi Benson's amazing voice. Also the original has more emotion, this one is more of a casual song. But it still sounds great!12 years ago
