Cheap Trick - Big Eyes

Cheap Trick was the opening band for KISS when they (Cheap Trick) first started. That is why they have KISS references in their song. They had their big break while touring with KISS and so they kind of owe their success to them. They're not much alike other than they are both a 4 piece band (lead, rhythm, bass and drums), and they were popular in the same time period. I like them both for different reasons, and I have seen them both live. Both great shows, both are great bands.

Kiss has nothing on this fab foursome. Except make-up and fake blood'n' stuff. 'nuff said.

Saw them in 1978, too, at the Santa Monica Civic... the man in the seat right in front of me was Charlie Watts, who was studying Bun E. Carlos' every move with binoculars!

My album!! More worn than that one. Saw them in '78. First three lps. The REAL Cheap Trick. Forget most of what came later.

Surrender IS the song with " Got my Kiss records out " . Mom and Dad were rolling numbers Rockin and Rolling Got my Kiss records out.

i think there's bigger songs than the gr8 'surrender'. 'the flame' would be their biggest seller .

I have to respectfully disagree. KISS have some classic songs like Rock N Roll All Nite and Detroit Rock City that are great. But it's true that Cheap Trick > KISS.
