pour moi , le jazz dans toute sa puissance et sa créativité, accessibles à un novice , c'est ce jazz: le be-bop, charlie paker au sax , dizzy gillespie à la trompette, sans oublier la rythmique, piano, batterie et contrebasse, tous de cette epoque, ça venait des tripes, apres c'etait plus intellectuel donc pour moi moins parlant, les tripes c'est à dire les emotions, c'est ce qui nous parle le plus et ce dont on se souvient avec le plus de force, qu'en pensez-vous ? julien

You never heard Coltrane on alto ?? You should search for one , its incredible ! And My ranking is very subjective , its just to say Charlie, Cannonball and Coltrane first place, the other 2nd place wich i like very much.

@ilialumbroso nice ranking, altough I personally would let parker share the first place with cannonball cause he has (imo) a nicer sound and the same incredible technique, but different ideas. why have you listed coltrane as alto-player? But in the end you can't rank great musicians at all...
