I'm sorry, but I just now got out the original monophonic vinyl album with this song on it, called The Early Bird Charlie Parker With Miles Davis on Baronet Records which I bought in 1960. I played it on an ION stereo turntable with an Onkyo 100 watt per channel amplifier using large Sony headphones, at near full volume, and the sound was twice as exciting and real than this here sounds. Bird is in resounding flight as opposed to sounding here like he's lopping along. Thanks for the post though.Related Videos
