Rippey's correct. I'm sure there are some tunes from the current crop of urban artists that are worth listening to. But it is true that corporate executives are still turning the knobs, just like they were 50 years ago. What's baffling is why they would want to sacrifice the potential of great music by simply churning out mindless computerized music with overly repetitive Dr. Suess lyrics. And shame on the masses... many of whom admit the music is sub par, yet still spend their money on it. Why would the cigar chompers go back to the talent grooming days of old when lemmings are saying, "Here's my money, keep feeding me crap."

This song gave me a woody in 1974. You danced to this with your honey on Saturday night, then took her home and played the Isley Brothers until the wee hours. What a memory.

Bobby, Jaime & Nate I want to congratulate each of you on the way you disagreed with one another. You all expressed your opinions without being nasty but behaving as true men should. So thank you

Funky, funky, funky. When I first heard this-when it came out-it took my head off. Still does, always will. Old school? You bet. All night long.
