Flying spoon... I thought about this all day long... In the morning i left @6 AM when they started the fan and forgot my phone. I was low on gas so i bought half tank. I went to WinCo and bought donuts. Didn't have my phone so could not check the time. Came back in about an hour just before they left. Two big mistakes that would cost me another day with the fan on...Could flying spoon be about spooning and some drug tool in the same time? Don't know, i read lots of comments at that song and none of them said CCR was gay and/or doing drugs. I never thought it myself. But this particular song could.In 97, after i met Shawn Parker at BNC (with Pastor Dennis Swift) i got a job at Les Schwab in Aloha, doing brakes in the back shop. They were a few gay guys and two of us left after a drug screen.The radio station of choice (the radio was on all the time) back then was 97.1 KISSn FM Oldies But Goldies (now it's Charlie on that frequency) and they were playing that song at least once a day and Jason was going nuts with joy every time he was listening to it. That's why i remembered it but in connection with what i call the "referendum law maneuver" executed by the politicians in Romania, when they send the new and shameful referendum law to the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR as well) and let it cool while they were heating up about other not so important issues but emotional issues, with the participation in the carnival of many foreign politicians who could not be that naive not to understand what all was all about. That's why i made the analogy with the song, because they brought the referendum law through the back door, signing into law while the Romanians where worrying more about less important issues. And one more important things. In Romania these days politicians play the strangest game, they act like they all fight each other but i think they are dealing under the table in the same time, when far from the public eye and media, when nobody knows. Or getting orders from the same source.
