Nel 2004 Carolina Marquez ci ha stupito con The Killer's Song che, nel giro di pochi giorni dalla pubblicazione, ha ottenuto un enorme successo a livello internazionale: il brano ruota intorno al sample risuonato del brano Twisted Nerve, originalmente composto da Bernard Herrmann per la colonna sonora del film thriller britannico I nervi a pezzi, diretto da Roy Boulting nel 1968, e in seguito riutilizzato anche nella colonna sonora del film di Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill vol. 1.
Nello stesso anno venne pubblicato l'ep dei remix: The Killer's Song Vol. 2 arrivò ai primi posti nelle classifiche di vendite.

Can anyone help me find this techno song please? I guess it can be considered a classic trance song. The song also has whistling in it, it's not the one by Bob Sinclair. The man has a softer voice and he sings a verse, but then he whistles the entire chorus melody. It's a fast paced trance song, I've been trying to look for it but people sometimes aren't too helpful, I've even posted the melody on here note by note so people can play it if they have a virtual piano but none of them seem to recognize it. I think the song is more popular, it's just that this is the problem with techno songs... I guess you can say this is a very redundant genre and it's very difficult to identify songs since most of them are instrumental or have so many similarities in beat/melody/rhythms.I think it'd be easier to simply narrow down the song to a man with a soft voice singing a verse, I really can't tell the lyrics but I remember the melody crystal clear. He also whistles the entire chorus, which is fast paced, it sounds something like "nah nah naaah, naah nah naaa-aah nah nah nah noh nah" etc. Help is appreciated.8 years ago
